TRAVEL AWARDS FOR YOUNG
INVESTIGATORS ATTENDING
THE XIVth INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM
ON RETINAL DEGENERATION


DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 15, 2010
We anticipate funding approximately 30 young investigators (graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, or young faculty lower than the rank of Associate Professor) to attend the XIVth International Symposium on Retinal Degeneration, July 13 - 17, 2010.

The awards include: air travel, meeting registration, room (double occupancy) & meals for the days of the meeting.

Awardees must attend the entire meeting, make a platform or poster presentation, and submit a chapter for the proceedings volume.


To apply for the Young Investigator Award, you must do the following two things:

1. Submit an updated CV or NIH Biosketch to Holly Whiteside

AND

2. Submit a Young Investigator Award Application - Abstract is limited to 250 words and does NOT recognize special characters (i.e., Greek characters).


If you do not receive confirmation of your abstract submission within one week, please contact Holly Whiteside


Young Investigator Applicants will be notified the result of the Travel Awards Selection Committee by the end of March, 2010.
