Registration and Abstract Deadlines:

Hotel Registration

Please use this Hotel Registration form. The form is in PDF format and requires that you have a PDF viewer on your computer. (A free PDF viewer can be downloaded from here.) The completed Hotel Registration Form should be sent to Holly Whiteside (please see form for Fax# and mailing address).

Package room rates include all taxes and gratuities. A 4-night package includes 4 buffet breakfasts, 3 lunches, 3 dinners, AND Friday Night Gala Dinner (red & white wine and beer with evening meals included) over the conference dates 13th July - 17th July, 2010. The 4-night package also includes round trip transportation between the hotel and the Montreal airport or parking at the hotel.

The 4-night meeting package rate for participants (double or single occupancy), accompanying persons and children are shown on the Hotel Registration form. These are based on a standard Fairmont Room. Different and larger rooms/suites are available for additional costs per night. The negotiated group room rates ($185 Canadian per night for a Fairmont room) are available to participants 3 days before and 3 days after the meeting, but these do not include meals.

Hotel reservation requires a credit card authorization, but does not require a deposit, and each participant will pay the package costs and individual expenditures at checkout by noon, Saturday, July 17, 2010. Cancelled reservations within 72 hours prior to arrival are subject to a penalty of full package rate including applicable taxes. This includes no shows and early departures. In this case, the credit card authorization will be used. In order to meet the requirements of the meeting site, it is necessary that all participants stay at the meeting hotel; thus, no meeting registrations or abstracts can be accepted from individuals who do not register for the meeting hotel.

Meeting Registration

The Meeting Registration fee is $425 (US$). This covers all meeting costs, including a copy of the published proceedings volume. The Meeting Registration fee for accompanying persons is $200 (US$). Online Abstract Submission

Online abstracts are accepted only for those who are registered. If you have completed the Meeting Registration Form and sent it to Holly Whiteside, please continue on to the the Online Abstract Submission page.

Scientists and trainees in vision science may register and attend without presenting.

The program will be organized soon after the abstract submission deadline, and all participants will be notified whether their presentations will be from the platform or as a poster by May 15, 2010.
